Terms and Conditions

Payment
A deposit of 50% of the total retail price will be required upon ordering with the balance due on the day before delivery.

Ownership
Furnishings Made Easy shall remain the owner of all goods, until the full invoice value has been paid. No item will be delivered until the final account has been settled.

Liability
It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that all goods are insured once delivered. Furnishings Made Easy are only responsible for the goods upto the time of delivery and installation. Under no circumstances will Furnishings Made Easy be liable for any loss or injury attributable to defects in the goods or otherwise in relation to to the performance of any contract entered into between Furnishings Made Easy and the purchaser. Furthermore, the purchaser shall indemnify Furnishings Made Easy against any claim for such damage, loss or injury made against Furnishings Made Easy by a third party.

Damaged Items
Furnishings Made Easy must be notified of any damage or shortage of items upon delivery of the furniture. All items will be checked on delivery by the installer and will advise the purchaser if any items are damaged or outstanding. We cannot accept liability for items that go missing after delivery. Furnishings Made Easy require that the purchaser or their nominated agent inspect all work carried out, failure to do this prior to the installer leaving the place of delivery of the goods would be considered that the purchaser has accepted and approved all the work.

External Access
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide access to the property either by themselves or through a nominated agent. Furnishings Made Easy will collect and return keys to the key holder providing that the distance travelled to do this is considered reasonable by us. We reserve the right to charge a fee for delays in providing access to the property where the package is to be installed.

Internal Access
Most of our furnishings are purchased with internal access in mind. Furnishings Made Easy will not be held responsible for furniture items not fitting through door ways or into the allocated rooms unless we have been informed in advance about restricted internal access. It is the duty of the purchaser to inform us of any access restrictions such as limited doorway space, low ceilings or any other unusual build feature.

Cancellation
Furnishings Made Easy reserves the right to charge the client for any costs incurred through the change of installation date or goods, which is not the fault of Furnishings Made Easy.

Superior Force
Furnishings Made Easy will not be liable to the purchaser for any breach of contract arising from or which may have been caused by an act of God, war,riot, civil commotion, government order, direction or legislation by fire, accident, strike or other industrial action, adverse weather conditions, delays in transport or by any other matter over which Furnishings Made Easy has no control.

Delivery Dates
Delivery dates are estimated and given in good faith, Furnishings Made Easy will not be held liable for any costs incurred through late delivery providing that we have informed you in advance of any changes which may occur with delivery or furniture packages.

Stock Items
Furnishings Made Easy holds large quantities of stock, however there are windows of time that we have no stock of certain items. This can affect the delivery times stated on this website. We recommend that customers contact us prior to placing their order online if they need the furniture pack urgently.
